Based on the idea that a creative mind is a healthy mind, CreativeWorks offers instruction in not only the visual arts (ArtWorks), but also literary arts (PenWorks) and health and wellness. Performing arts are another aspect of CreativeWorks, and include the popular MusicWorks instruction as well as theatre arts and dance (StageWorks). Instructors provide a high standard of education to students and dedication within the classroom.

ArtWorks provides comprehensive instruction in the visual arts for both children and adults as part of our CreativeWorks program. Many ArtWorks classes are designed to provide a sequential curriculum, allowing a student to progress from the most basic skills to a high level of competency.

Classes meet for as little as one day to as long as six weekly sessions. Workshop fees are modest and a limited number of scholarships are available for students with need.

Students and adults may register for classes by mail, simply click the link below to open the event guide, print out the registration form on page 8, and mail the signed form along with payment to Arts Place, 131 East Walnut Street, P.O. Box 804, Portland, IN 47371.
