Arts Place is currently accepting registrations for summer MusicWorks instruction at its Portland Center and Blackford County Center. Adults and students may enroll in individual instruction. Lessons begin June 10 and continue through July 19, 2013. Registration deadline is Wednesday, June 6, 2013. After that date, students will be accepted on a space-available basis. |

The Arts Place Blackford County Arts Center will be participating in the first annual SummerFest in Blackford County in the form of a Juried Art Show. Artists residing in Blackford, Jay, Wells, Grant and Delaware County are invited to submit up to three pieces of original two-dimensional work created within the last five years for judging by the submission deadline of July 1st. The Arts Place Blackford County Arts Center, located at 107 West Washington Street, Hartford City, Indiana, will house the Juried Art Show while other SummerFest festivities will take place on the Courthouse Square during the festival. Arts Place, Inc. is announcing there has been a change in the date for the Berne Class “Musical Petting Zoo” B-3, which was originally scheduled for June 12-14 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The new date will be June 19-21 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The location of this class is at Swiss Heritage Village, 1200 Swissway Road, Berne, Indiana. |
